Frequently Asked Questions
Can we visit before deciding?
Approved applicants are welcome to visit by appointment once puppies are 5+ weeks old. For biosecurity, we don't host visits during the first month.
Do your puppies come with cropped ears?
Ear cropping is optional and discussed during matching. If you elect cropping, it is performed by our board-certified veterinary surgeon before go-home, at cost. Natural-eared puppies are equally welcome in our program.
How does your waitlist work?
Approved applications join the waitlist in order of approval. When a litter is born we work down the list for matching — temperament fit comes first, color preference second. Deposits are only requested after a puppy match is confirmed.
What comes with our puppy?
AKC registration, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, vet exam record, 5 lbs of current food, scent blanket, our puppy-raising guide, and lifetime breeder support.
What health testing do you do?
All breeding dogs have: annual echocardiogram and 24-hour Holter (DCM screening), vWD status via Embark, OFA hips, and OFA thyroid. Results are published on each dog's profile — we believe in showing, not telling.
What is your deposit policy?
A $500 reservation deposit holds your matched puppy and is applied to the final price. Deposits are transferable to a future litter if timing doesn't work out, per our written deposit agreement. All sales are concluded directly under our puppy contract.
